The picture shows a front and back view of this Veterans of Foreign Wars Political Action Committee Painted Medal. The year that this medal was made is unknown. It was made in 1979 or later. This is a thick and heavy coin made of an unknown metal. It is painted in red, white, and blue. One side has the V.F.W. emblem or insignia with an eagle and an American flag. The other side has the U.S. Capitol Building dome. It is marked on the two sides as follows:
