The picture below shows a larger view of the Rare 1940s Coco Wheats Cereal Advertising Premium C. Carey Cloud Cloudcrest Pack of Prizes with Envelope in this lot. Artist and Designer C. Carey Cloud was a prize Designer for Cracker Jack from 1937 to the early 1960s. He had designed hundreds of prizes throughout the depression World War II and beyond. They were made of tin before and after WWII, paper during this time because of war shortages, and of paper and plastic after the war. Because he was the artist, developer and producer of many of the prizes, he also marketed the same prizes and ideas to some other companies as well. This Coco-Wheats Pack of Prizes is a fine example of this. Each of these paper prizes was used as Cracker Jack box prize as well and the Cracker Jack ID numbers are listed below.

Included in the lot is the original Coco-Wheats advertising envelope that the mail away premium set was mailed in. The front with the address label is shown at the top and the back with the prize name list is shown at the bottom. The premium was sent in the 1940s from Warsaw, Indiana to an Eland, Wisconsin mailing address. This “Pack of Prizes” is almost complete and it has an unlisted piece (see below). The premium is exactly as we had acquired it. The list below is from the back of the envelope. Included there is as follows:

WIGGLE LOBSTER (Cracker Jack Prize Number Z-1005)
WIGGLE ALLIGATOR (Cracker Jack Prize Number Z-1004)
DISC GAME (Cracker Jack Prize Number Z-1013) (has 1 disk and part to drop them on)
AUTOGIRO (Cracker Jack Prize Number Z-1030)
SUN DIAL (Cracker Jack Prize Number Z-1029)
ACROBAT CLOWN (Cracker Jack Prize Number Z-0995)
MORSE CODE SIGNAL (Cracker Jack Prize Number Z-1020)
(2) MINUTE MOVIES (Cracker Jack Prize Number Z-1145) (only has one minute movie)
AUTO RACING (Cracker Jack Prize Number Z-1031)
ONE PUZZLE (Mystery Vase)(Cracker Jack Prize Number Z-0011)
(not listed but included) LOST IN THE WOODS Maze Puzzle Instructions Section.

All of these prizes for one price! To judge the sizes the the envelope, not counting the flap measures about 6'' x 3-3/8''. The prizes appear to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. The envelope has light wear or wrinkling from handling.
