The pictures below show larger views of all (13) Small Old Pirate Related Items in this lot. The pictures show front and back views, and another shows a view of the small advertisement that could not be seen in the other images. The larger item is an old Syroco or Multi Products Pirate bookend figure. It is made of a compressed or molded sawdust type material. There is a compartment on the back that looks like it may hold a deck of cards. The figure is of a Pirate who may be on a dock with a wooden wall behind him. There is a painted eye patch, a bandana, a belt, a pistol gun, and a knife. The figure is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1930s or 1940s. There is a small paper advertisement for “100 TOY PIRATES FOR $1”. The ad pictures a boy and some of the miniature plastic toy play set figures. Next there is a metal Pirate head pin with the back section included. He is wearing a hat, an eye patch, and he has a knife in his mouth. There is a metal Skull & Crossed Bones pin with the back section included. The final (9) items in this lot are matching enameled Skull & Crossed Bones Jolly Roger flag pins with their back sections included. All thirteen of these Pirate related items for one price! To judge the sizes the Pirate bookend figure measures about 4-1/2'' x 6-1/8'' x 2-1/4''. The bookend appears to be near mint condition, and the pins are all in mint unused condition as pictured. |
