| | | The pictures below show larger front and back views of this 1920s Zelienople, Pennsylvania Keystone Grocery Store Store Advertisement. The particular store was located at 108 Klinefelter Building on Main Street. The flyer itself is not dated but it was found with another (also with writing) that was from a 1928 Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) store. The advertisement has no print on the back. It has a wide variety of grocery items with prices that we would love to be paying today! The bottom sections have “House Cleaning Needs” and “Candies” such as chocolates, candy bars, Easter eggs, Marshmallow eggs, Clark Bars, Nestle Bars, Hershey Bars, and Baby Ruths. On the back there is a brown Warren Harding 1-1/2 cent postage stamp. It is also stamped “ZELIENOPLE, PA.” and “BOX HOLDER ZELIENOPLE, PA. R.D.1”. The back has writing in pencil that could be erased if desired. It has what is titled SOHRAB AND RUSTUM “SELF DEPENDENCE”. This would look nice framed and hanging in a vintage kitchen. The advertisement measures 12-1/2'' x 24''. It appears to be in good condition with penciled writing on the back as pictured. The folds could be flattened or easily ironed flat. |
