The picture shows a view of the (6) Unused ©1956 Hollywood or Bust Movie Advertising Ad Mat Molds in this lot. All but one of these are still attached together. These ad mats are not dated but they are from 1956 when this movie was made. These are molds in which lead is poured to create a thin metal negative image that is then mounted on a wooden block for printing. Advertising is no longer being made or printed like this. The ad mats are like miniature 3-D posters and would look nice framed, or you could still use them and make print blocks from them. The print block would have been used to print on movie pages in newspapers, in magazines, or in the movie theater programs. It is made of a thick compressed paper board. Three of these admats have an image of Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin and two of them have a woman as well. Two have the movie information, and (3) have the movie title only. They are marked as follows: PARAMOUNT PRESENTS DEAN MARTIN AND JERRY LEWIS IN HAL WALLIS PRODUCTION HOLLYWOOD OR BUST DEAN'S OUT TO MAKE MERRY! ANITA'S OUT TO GET JERRY!
