(2) Old Humor Stereoscopic or Stereoview Photograph Cards
Humor   Comedy   Anti Smoking   Tobacco   Cigarette   Cross Dresser   Stereoscopic   Stereoview   3-D   Photo   Photograph   Card   Lock   Stocks
The picture shows a view of the (2) Old Humor Stereoscopic or Stereoview Photograph Cards in this lot. The years that these were made are unknown but they are old. They are believed to be from the early 1900s. They both have colorized images.

The first stereoview card has an image of a man and a woman with their arms and legs in wooden stocks with large brass locks. This looks like a souvenir photo that may have been from an old amusement park, boardwalk, arcade or another popular old tourist attraction. There is a sign in the background but it is hard to read. (Rock of ?????). On the back is an old sticker that reads ''BABES IN THE WOOD''. Also written in pencil on the back is ''Mrs. H. W. Frye''.

The second photo card pictures a woman dressed in a mans clothing and derby hat sitting on a chair back. On the wal behind her is a ''NO SMOKING'' sign. The title reads as follows:

1083. I DON'T CARE FOR SIGNS.

On the back of the card there is a poem that reads as follows:

No.1083. I DON'T CARE FOR SIGNS.
There was a lady of Nantes
Who escaped from the care of her aunts.
Dressed herself as a boy,
And her wink was so coy
She threw all the men in a trance.

So she went to a masquerade dance
(Of course, this all happened in France)
The sign said, ''No Smoking.''
She thought they were joking,
Till thrown out by the slack of her bloomers.

To judge the sizes the larger one measures 7'' x 3-1/2''. These appear to be in very good condition with some wear as pictured.
