| | | The picture shows an outside and inside view of this Colorful Old Wm. A. Coombs Rob Roy Flour Advertising Trade Card. The card is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1800s. The front and back are in full color and the inside is in black. The front pictures a man and two women. One woman is kneading dough and the other appears to be opening packages from a basket. The man appears to be about to grab one of the women. He has two hand prints in flour on his chest and he has dropped his hat. Interesting image. In the foreground there is a barrel and sack of flour. The lid is opened and the Rob Roy label is seen. The back pictures the three mills and elevator owned by Wm. Coombs from Coldwater, Michigan. It also pictures two wooden barrels with the colorful end labels.
