| The picture below shows two larger views of the (2) Old Cracker Jack Painted Metal Tootsietoy Company New York Central Railroad Miniature Toy Train Box Cars in this lot. The train cars are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1950s. As far as I know, they were offered for sale in stores, and as a mail away premium. They are made of painted lead or pot metal, and they came with either black, or white rolling rubber wheels on metal axles. There is one boxcar with black, and one with white wheel included here. These are marked “Tootsietoy Made In U.S.A.”. There are only two of the boxcars here, but the full set has (5) cars including a Locomotive Engine, a New York Central Tender, a Cracker Jack Boxcar, a Texaco Tanker Car, and a N.Y.C.R.R. Caboose. I am selling off my large, lifetime Cracker Jack collection. This is a great opportunity, or chance for you to be the proud owner of some nice old Cracker Jack items, including many Rare, one of a kind, Art pieces from Cracker Jack, or their toy prize History. Both of these Cracker Jack train cars for one price! The Cracker Jack Box Cars each measure about 3-1/8'' x 1'' x 3/4''. They appear to be in excellent or better condition as pictured, but the connecting hook on each of the Cracker Jack cars are missing. |
