1930's Skippy Comic Strip Character Birthday Card
Skippy   Comic Strip   Character   Greeting Card   Paper
The picture shows the cover and inside of this 1930's Skippy Comic Strip Character Birthday Card. The Birthday card has an image inside that looks like the cartoon / comic strip character Skippy selling newspapers. The cover and inside read as follows:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
THERE'S NO HOARDING
WITH ME, AND
NO CUTTING DOWN
YOU BET,
WHEN IT COMES TO
WISHES FOR YOUR
BIRTHDAY
HOPE IT'S THE
BEST YET!

The card is signed "MUCH LOVE FROM ELEANOR". Included also (but not pictured) is the original envelope with the name "MOTHER" on it. It is not dated but all the cards it came with were from the 1930's. Closed it measures 4-3/8" 5-3/8". Aside from the signature it is in mint condition.
