The picture shows a view of all (69) Old Arcade Fortune Teller Machine Two Sided Paper Fortunes in this lot. A few random samples were pulled off the pile to show the different sides. These are not dated but they are old.

It is unknown exactly what machine that they were used in, but they are believed to be from either an old Gypsy or Grandmother fortune telling arcade machine or a penny table top fortune teller that would dispense them. These machines may have been found in old arcades, diners, restaurants, boardwalks, amusement parks, hotels, bus or train stations, tourist areas, or many other heavy traffic places.

Inside the machine would be a rod that they go on through the holes. They are cut by the hole so that they would pull off without tearing. One side of these have a playing card with a fortune. The other sides have a ''QUIZ QUESTION'' and the answer. All of these for one price! The paper fortunes each measure 2-3/8'' x 1-1/2''. They appear to be in mint unused condition as pictured.
