The picture shows a front and back view of all (4) Old Comic Character Cigarette Advertising Premium Celluloid Pin Back Buttons in this lot. These pinback buttons are not dated but they are from the early 1900s. They were a give away prize or premium with a pack of cigarettes. Two of these do not have a paper insert in the back so the brand that they came from is unknown.

The first pinback pictures, in color, a comic image of a man with a hat, neckerchief, and a long moustache. The image is marked ''TAD''. The front is marked as follows:

I'M THE GUY
THAT PUT THE
HELL IN HELENA

The second pinback pictures a comic image of a bearded man with a hat, and glasses carrying two bags of money. The image is marked ''GOLDBERG''. The front and paper insert are marked as follows:

I SHOULD WORRY?
TOKIO CIGARETTES
FACTORY NO.649 1st DIST. N.Y.
T. J. GLEASON
BROOKLYN, N.Y., U.S.A.

The third pinback pictures a comic image of a boy and a school teacher in a classroom scene. They each have a paper in their hand. There is a desk, inkwell bottle, and a chalkboard with writing. The image appears to be marked ''SATI''. The front is marked as follows:

SOME CLASS, EH?

The fourth and final pinback in this lot pictures, in color, an comic image of a crying man in a suit on a rock in the water. The image has a signature that is difficult to read. The front and paper insert are marked as follows:

GEE! I'M LONESOME
HASSAN CIGARETTES
FACTORY NO.649 1st DIST. N.Y.
W & H CO. (for Whitehead & Hoag Company)
PATENTED

The pin back buttons each measure 7/8'' wide. They appear to be in excellent or better condition as pictured.
