The picture shows a view of both sides of this Old Paint Brush Advertising Premium Paint Can Hook. This paint can hook is not dated but it is believed to be from the early 1900s. It is made of steel. The round area goes over the step or rung of a ladder. The hook section would then hold a can of paint for a painter. This was a promotional advertising premium tool given to painters to advertise paint brushes. It is marked on the two sides as follows:

WHITING - ADAMS BRUSHES
BEST BRUSHES KNOWN

The paint can hook measures 4-7/8'' tall. It is in excellent condition as pictured.
