| | | | The picture shows views of this Old Glass Midget Washer Laundry Washboard. Shown is a front and back view and a closer view of the wording at the top. This wash board is not dated but it is old. It has been displayed for many years at an old dry cleaning business. This would have been used for cleaning small delicate items like handkerchiefs, lingerie, nylons, or stockings. The front has ribs and the back has a molded grid pattern. The words ''MIDGET WASHER'' are also molded in the glass at the top. The maker is unknown. The washboard measures 6'' x 8-5/8'' x 5/8''. It is in mint condition as pictured. There are some bubbles in the glass and what appear to be cracks are not cracks. They are from marks on the mold that made it. |
