(2) Boxed 1940s Ginsburg Brothers Brown & Bigelow Advertising Playing Card Decks
Ginsburg Brothers   Brown & Bigelow   Advertising   Promotional   Premium   Playing Card   Card   Game   Paper   Ephemera
The picture shows a view of the (2) Boxed 1940s Ginsburg Brothers Brown & Bigelow Advertising Playing Card Decks. Judging by the print on the card backs, these card decks are from the 1940s. We are not familiar with this company, their location, or of they are still in business or not. The logo has a document seal and reads as follows:

GINSBURG BROTHERS
1896
OVER 50 YEARS PAPER
SERVICE

The back, or bottom of the box has a gold label. The label and box are marked as follows:

REDI-SLIP FINISH
REMEMBRANCE PLAYING CARDS
REG. U.S. PAT. OFFICE

PATENT PENDING,
BROWN & BIGELOW,
ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA

Shown are examples of a few of the cards, the instruction cards, the back design and the box cover. The blue velvet like box contains two full decks of (52) cards, a joker for each, and a card game instruction card for each. The card decks are identical except one has a black & gold frame border on the back and the other has a red & gold frame.

The cards each measure 2-1/4'' x 3-1/2''. The cards appear to be in mint unused condition. The box cover has wear on the gold imprinted logo as pictured.
