The pictures show views of all (5) Boxed U.S. Navy & U.S. Army World War II Action Acme Film Strips in this lot. Also included and pictured is one box. The center film strip pictured ''UNITED STATES NAVY SERIES 2'' belongs in the included box. The others once had their own boxes, but someone had chose to save them all in this one box. This small cardboard box has colorful pictures an U.S. Army Soldier, a U.S. Army Air Corps Plane, an U.S. Army Tank, and a U.S. Navy War Ship. The box is also marked as follows:

NO 31 NAVY
OFFICIAL BY COURTESY OF U.S. NAVY
AN ACME PRODUCT
THIS IS SERIES NO. 2
©
MADE IN THE U.S. OF AMERICA
N2

There are (80) official U.S. Navy and U.S. Army frames of war images on the (5) included film strips, minus 2 that are damaged frames. Each image has a caption to identify it. From left to right in the pictures, the five filmstrips are titled as follows:

UNITED STATES ARMY SERIES 1 - OFFICIAL AND COURTESY OF U.S. ARMY SIGNAL CORP.

OFFICIAL VIEWS OF UNCLE SAM'S DEFENSE - SERIES 1A

UNITED STATES NAVY - SERIES 2 - OFFICIAL AND COURTESY OF U.S. NAVY RECRUITING BUREAU

UNITED STATES ARMY - SERIES 2 - OFFICIAL AND COURTESY OF U.S. ARMY SIGNAL CORP.

UNITED STATES ARMY - SERIES 3 - OFFICIAL AND COURTESY OF U.S. ARMY SIGNAL CORP.

To judge the sizes the 16mm filmstrips each measure about 5-3/4'' long. They appear to be in excellent condition, except one has damage on two frames as pictured. The box has some wear and creasing on the inner flaps. One outer flap (bottom one with print) has come loose but it is still here.
