The picture shows a view of this 1960s Big Eyed Pity Puppy Gig Art Ceramic Planter. The bottom is stamped ''H1422''. Although they are not marked, the planter is believed to be by the contemporary Artist Gig and was created in the 1960s when many Artists like Keane, Igor, Eden, Lee, Sherle, and many others were doing these big eyed or sad children, kitten, puppy, and animal art works. The planter measures about 5-1/4'' tall. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured but it could use a little cleaning on the inside.
