1937 & 1938 Monroe County Pennsylvania Dog Tag & License with Envelope
Monroe County   Pennsylvania   Dog   Canine   Animal   Tag   Brass   License   Envelope   Paper   Ephemera
The picture shows a view of the 1937 & 1938 Monroe County Pennsylvania Dog Tag & License with Envelope in this lot. Both the 1937 brass tag and the 1938 paper license were found in this same envelope. It is interesting how the note on the envelope addresses ''MR. DOG OWNER'', as if a woman couldn'Őt own or register a dog in Pennsylvania. They were from Monroe County in The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. To judge the sizes the envelope measures 4-1/2'' x 3''. The dogtag appears to be in mint unused condition and the license is filled in as pictured.
