| | | The pictures below show larger front and back views of the Old Molded Syroco Wood Old Woman & Man Character Couple Figures with Umbrellas in this lot. These figures are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1930s. They are made of a compressed or molded wood saw dust type material. They are dressed and have some paint on their clothing and shoes. Both are prepared for a rainy day with an unopened umbrella. There are no marks on these, but Syroco normally had used a sticker on the bottom, which are gone. The figures measure about 4-1/2'' tall. It appears to be in good condition with some light over all wear as pictured, however, upon close inspection with a strong magnifying glass, we see that both figures have repaired cracks on their legs and on the end of the umbrellas. |
