CARLSBAD CAVERNS, N.M. Next there are (8) numbered Carlsbad Caverns advertising souvenir photo slides. These were Made in the U.S.A. from ''MESTON'S TRAVELS AROUND THE WORLD''. They are also each marked ''NEW MEXICO CARLSBAD CAVERN NAT'L PARK''. The numbers and captions read as follows:

18Ah - LUNCH ROOMThere is a ©1959 Carlsbad Caverns advertising souvenir picture booklet. It has (20) pages of color images from inside Carlsbad Caverns and a map. Next there are (3) old used Carlsbad Caverns advertising souvenir picture post cards (upper right in the picture below). These have postage stamps and were postmarked in 1949, 1958, and 1959. Last but not least in this lot is a packet of (15) old unused Carlsbad Caverns advertising souvenir postcards. The packet cover states that there are ten, but there are (15) inside (too many to list individually here). All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the booklet (top center) measures 9'' x 6''. These items appear to range from excellent to mint unused condition as pictured. |
