The picture below shows four larger views around this Early French Stanhope Viewer Pendant Charm with Two Standing Pretty Lady Views. The metal charm is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1800s. It is made of an unknown metal. You would look through the small round hole on the side edge. Inside there are two different women views. With the charm loop area raised an illustration of a woman in a dress can be seen. With the loop area pushed down an illustration of a nude woman can be seen. One side has a raised image of what appears to be a dragon. The other side has the letter ''H'' in a circle with rays, and it is marked as follows: CINEMATOGRAPHE BIJOU DESPOSE Not counting the top loop, the necklace pendant charm measures about 9/16'' x 1'' x 3/16''. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. After the pictures were taken, the two tiny tabs on the dragon side were pushed back down. |
