We do not know the years that these were made but some appear to be older and some appear to be newer. It is marked on the two sides as follows: 1788 MASSACHUSETTS Heritage Collection of American States American Collectors Guild The next spoon has scrollwork all over the handle and a detailed building image in the bowl. It reads as follows: New Public Library Boston, Mass. Standard The next one has an enameled section on the handle picturing the state. It is marked: MASSACHUSETTS THE BAY STATE The next spoon is still boxed. It has an enameled section on the handle with Paul Revere's famous ride. In the bowl are various famous Boston locations. It is marked: BOSTON, MASS. U.S.S. Constitution State House Old North Church Bunker Hill Boston, Mass. The next spoon is an advertising souvenir from The Museum of Science. It pictures a building and reads: MUSEUM OF SCIENCE BOSTON, MASS. The last spoon in this lot has a building and a sailboat image on the handle. It reads: John F. Kennedy Library Boston, Mass. All of the spoons that are pictured are included for one price! To judge the sizes the largest spoon measures about 4-1/2'' long. These appear to range from excellent to mint unused condition as pictured. |
