This coat has been identified as one piece of a nine piece Skipper doll #1906 dress coat clothing set. Unfortunately we do not have the other pieces. The outside is red velvet, and the lining is white. The coat matches her big Sister Barbie's #0939 Red Flare Coat. It is marked on the cloth tag as follows: SKIPPER t.m.
©1963 MATTEL, INC. If it is any help, it was found in a collection of Barbie dolls that we had acquired that were dated from ©1958 to ©1966. The skirt measures about 5'' tall. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
