1800s Boston Woven Hose & Rubber Company Advertising Celluloid Pin
Boston   Massachusetts   Rubber   Company   Bicycle   Tire   Transportation   Advertising   Celluloid   Pin   History   Historic
The picture shows a view of both sides of this 1800s Boston Woven Hose & Rubber Company Advertising Celluloid Pin. A little research found that this Boston, Massachusetts company had existed from about 1883 to June 17, 1898 (15 years) when it closed. This early advertising pin was purchased in a collection that was mainly from about 1896. The pin has a football shaped logo that reads as follows:

VIM
BOSTON WOVEN HOSE
AND RUBBER CO.

The pin measures 7/8'' wide. It appears to be in good condition with some old age spotting and a missing pin from the back as pictured.
