| | | The picture shows a views of this 1921 (2) Sided Black Crows Licorice Candy Trade Advertisement. Both sides are shown. One side has a nice color image of (9) black crows flying over what appears to be a snow covered corn field. The art work is by Franklin Bittner. These advertisements were from a candy trade magazine and not intended for the general public. They were in the May 1921 issue of The Confectioners Journal. The colorful page side appears to be the package art or wrapper for the product. That colorful side reads as follows: Mason's Black Crows Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Imitation Licorice Drops Mason's Black Crows Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Imitation Licorice Drops Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat. Of. Black Crows Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. ©1919 Mason Au & Magenheimer Conf. Mfg. Co. The back has another different advertisement which also gives the prices for retailers. The advertisement is ready for framing. It measures 9-1/4'' x 12'' and is in mint condition. |
