The picture shows a top view of this Old Plastic Western Saddle Playing Card Holder. Sorry for the dark scan. This holder has two parts, one is the saddle as seen pictured and the other part is a base that it sets on. The saddle spins on this base allowing card players to use this like a lazy Susan.

The saddle holds two decks of playing cards (not included) or a draw and a discard pile. Both parts are made of black hard plastic and the saddle has a silver painted horn and studs. Neither part is dated but this is believed to be from the 1940's or 1950's. The base is round, all black and it is marked as follows:

PACIFIC PLAYING CARD CO.
LOS ANGELES
MADE IN U.S.A.
PAT. PEND.

To judge the size the saddle section measures 8-1/2" wide and when it is on its base it is 3-5/8" tall to the top of the horn. It is in excellent condition with only light wear from use.
