The picture shows a view of all (11) Old Postmortem or Funeral Photographs and Slides in this lot. Some of these are dated, but all of them are old. These are from (5) different individuals that had passed away. This is an accumulated lot that had been acquired over many years. The larger photograph is still pasted on scrap book paper with some written information. Sadly it is from the funeral of a baby girl named Flora Nadeau who had died on August 10, 1949. She is shown in a tiny casket with a crucifix and flowers. The (2) black & white, and (2) color photos in the center row go together. They are from of the same man who died in October 4, 1963. The name ''Christianne Bertrand'' is on the back of one of them and the black & whites are dated on the front. There is a small flag or banner on the casket ''Member Societe St. Jean Baptiste''. The four slides are all casket views of the same man named ''Roy'' who had passed away on October, 24, 1968. The film was developed January 1969. The (2) photos of a man in a casket at the top (left & right) go together. These are not marked. Hopefully these photographs will finally one day end up in the hands of family members. All of these photos are for one price! To judge the sizes the larger photograph measures about 7'' x 5''. These appear to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. |
