The picture shows all (5) 1950's Hawaii Tourist Paper Items in this lot. I do not see dates on these, but they were acquired by a traveling couple when they visited Hawaii in 1955. These are from before Hawaii became a state of the United States. The first item is a brochure from the KONA COAST CRUISE by the Hawaiian Cruies, Ltd.. It is from the ship "CAPTAIN COOK" and the glass bottom boat "CORAL QUEEN". It has pictures and gives much Hawaiian History and information on Captain Cook. The second item is another different brochure from the same cruise. The third item is an eight page booklet from the "QUEEN'S SURF LUAU ALOHA". It has a welcome, The Story of the Luau, and The Story of the Taro. There is other information and graphics as well. Fourth is an unused 1950's picture post card of KAHILI GINGER. Fifth and final in this lot is a picture card from The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. It has a temple pictured on one side and The Articles Of Faith on the other. It is from L.D.S. Temple, Laie, Oahu, T.H. To judge the sizes the largest item measures 8-1/2" x 11". They are in near mint to mint condition with the exception of the first one having folds. |
