RAPHAEL TUCK   Post Card   Business Card   Card
The picture shows both sides of this Early RAPHAEL TUCK & SONS COMPANY Business Card. I believe that this company is most well known for their work in post cards. There is a small graphic of an artist's easel with a pallete. The canvas on the easel has an RT & S logo. The pallete reads "ARTISTIC SERIES" and it also says "TRADE MARK". The front of the card reads as follows:

J.C. DEERY
REPRESENTING
RAPHAEL TUCK & SONS COMPANY LIMITED
122 V 124 FIFTH AVENUE, N.Y.
LONDON, PARIS

There are old hand written notes on the back of the card. The dates written are from 1849 to 1913. These may be employee years of service or ages of people I am not sure, but it is interesting and might be of historically significant to someone. The card measures 4-1/8" x 2-1/2". Aside from the notes on the back it is in mint condition.
