| | | The picture shows a view of this 1884 United States Brewers' Association Political Prohibition & Intolerance Document. This paper is printed in English and what appears to be German. They were printed on the same side then folded. It is a confidential letter from the United States Brewers Association to its members. It is basically a plea from the Association to Brewers to vote in the 1884 Presidential Election. The choice was between an ''outspoken uncompromising prohibitionist and a man of broad and liberal views in the matter of personal liberty''. The candidates names are not mentioned. The paper measures 10'' x 8-3/8'' when unfolded. It is in very good condition with folds as pictured. |
