| The pictures below show several larger views of this Small Old Metal Cosmetic Powder Compact with a Mirror & a Small Dog Picture. We do not see a date on it, but it is old. We also do not see a maker’s name, only a “©” copyright symbol under the dog picture. The dog appears to be some type of a small black & white Terrier. The cover or lid is enameled a grayish tan color with the dog image. It is hinged and has a metal clasp on the front. When opened, at the top is an adjustable two sided metal mirror with a slot in the center to open and move with your finger nail. The hinged metal mirror fits into the top section of the case. The bottom area has a metal door with a very detailed spiral pattern. (sorry that missed getting pictured) That door opens with another clasp, and inside is a small amount of pinkish white fine powder. The powder can be emptied out and replaced if desired. This item is being offered as an old collectable make up compact. It has a small amount of the original powder content. It is not intended nor being sold for use.
