Old Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Lithographed Tin U.S. Army Private Soldier FigureToy Prize. This prize Soldier figure is not dated but it is believed to be from around World War I or shortly after. The Doughboy Soldier is holding his Sword. The back side is blank. The Cracker Jack ID number is Z-0874. The base has not yet been bent as intended, so that he may stand up. There are at least several others in this set including a Private, a Captain, and a General. It is marked on the base as follows: OFFICER U.S.A. MADE IN U.S.A. The tin Soldier figure without the base bent, as pictured, measures about 2-7/16'' tall. It appears to be in good condition with some edge wear on the right as pictured. |
