| | | The pictures below show larger views of this 1950s Metal Pre Digital or Electronic Baby Calculator with Stylus Instructions & Case. This manual calculator is from before the digital age. It has no digital or electronic parts, lights, or any battery to change. It is used by moving the slotted areas up or down with the included metal stylus. The sum or answer appears in the square areas in the center. There is a handle at the top to clear all of the fields to zero. There are areas for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The metal stylus is included (see inside top of red case), as well as a red vinyl case, the instructions missed getting pictured, but they are included. They were inside the case art the time. The calculator is marked as follows: R-DOWN W-UP (applied vinyl label maker label) BABY CALCULATOR ADD – SUBTRACT – MULTIPLY – DIVIDE LG R–DN and W–UP/AROUND (inscribed / written) SM R-DN/AROUND and W-UP (inscribed / written) HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PENNA. - U.S.A. TRADE MARK This metal calculator measures about 3-1/4'' x 5-3/4'' x 5/16''. It is in working order and appears to be in good used condition as pictured. The instruction sheet has wear and tear from handling. There are a few (probably very helpful) notes scribed on the calculator. There is an old label maker label at the top that could be removed if desired. |
