The hat is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. The Destroyer ship image and the wording are all machine embroidered in color (gold & haze gray). The ship is pictured with some detail. There is an adjustable plastic snap back section. It is marked on the front and on the cloth tag inside as follows: USS PAUL HAMILTON
