| | | The pictures show different inside and outside views of this Old Miniature Wooden Oval Shaker Trinket Box. Shown are the sides, the outside of the top and bottom, and the inside of both as well. The box is not dated but it is old. It was found in rural New Hampshire and we believe that it was made by a Shaker at the near by Canterbury Shaker Village. The village was established over 200 years ago in 1792. The wooden box is not marked. It is smooth and it looks like it is made of maple wood and the nails appear to be made of brass. The box measures about 3-3/4'' x 2-5/8'' x 1-15/16''. It appears to be in near mint to mint condition as pictured. |
