The pictures below show larger views of this Colorful Old Boxed Gotham Pressed Steel Skip Ball Junior Marble Game. The game is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1940s or 1950s. It is like a table top version of Skeeball from the old arcades. The box is mostly here with the ends missing. There is an old envelope that has (4) black glass marbles. The game is made of lithographed tin or steel with an imprinted cardboard base section. The object is to shoot the marbles into the rings in the target area. The points in the metal rings are: 100, 300, 500, & 1000. The printed cardboard box pictures a boy and girl with the game It is marked as follows: GOTHAM SKIP - BALL JUNIOR G - 400 GPS GOTHAM MANUFACTURED BY GOTHAM PRESSED STEEL CORPORATION NEW YORK, N.Y., U.S.A. GOTHAM GAMES AND TOYS SOLD THE WORLD OVER The game has the instructions on the playing field, but oddly some of them are under the tin spring loaded shooter section.
