The picture below shows a larger view of both sides of this Old Mysto Magic Magician’s Metal Token Coin. The coin is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. The token is made of an unknown silver colored metal and it has a reeded edge. It may have been part of a Mysto Magic kit, or set by Alfred C. Gilbert. Gilbert was a magician, and he had produced different versions of his magic sets from the 1930s to the 1960s. Some other coins like this may have a Magician’s advertising on it, and were given out as a souvenir during a show. The two sides of this coin are identical. The two sides have a raised image of a bearded naked Magician on top of a globe, with a cape or cloth, and a magic wand. This coin could be used in many slight of hand or other coin magic tricks. It is marked on the two sides as follows: MYSTO MAGIC The coin measures 1-3/16'' wide. We are not coin graders, and conditions can be subjective, so please see the picture(s) to judge for yourself. To us it appears to be excellent condition as pictured. |
