Old Tin Toy Pair of Binoculars with a Compass
Tin   Toy   Binoculars   Optical   Compass   Novelty   Sports
The picture shows three views of this Old Tin Toy Pair of Binoculars with a Compass. The binoculars are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1930s. They are simply marked ''JAPAN''. Even though they are a toy, they work and are made well. We don't know what power they are, but they are for a child and not very strong. The center image shows them short, but they do extend with the screw section in the center. They are painted black and the body has a simulated mother of pearl covering. On the eye piece side is also a small working tin compass. They have an attached black strap that is about 24'' long. These measure 3-13/16'' wide. The lenses are a little dust, but otherwise they appear to be in mint condition as pictured.
