| | | | The picture shows a front and back view of this 1843 Leopold I Belgian Silver 1/2 Franc Coin Jewelry Pin. We are not sure why this coin was turned into a pin, but our best guess is that the coin was special or important to someone at one time. In any case, the pin is well mounted on the obverse of this silver coin with the year shown on the front. The obverse has the head of Leopold I and the reverse has a wreath and a star. Because of the pin, some words are covered but the coin is marked on the two sides as follows: LEOPOLD PREMIER
