Miniature   Bullfight   Novelty   Souvenir   Nut
The picture shows an opened and closed view of this Old Miniature Bullfight Scene In A Nutshell. I was unable to get a better picture of the inside because it simply would not stay still while scanning. Inside in the center section is a miniature matador with a black paper bull. On each side is a miniature person. The miniature people are made up of colored thread wrapped on perhaps wire. There is paint and glitter inside as well. There is an attached silk string, there are wire hinges to hold the sides, and a metal clasp to hold it closed. This miniature is believed to be from 1956. It was purchased with the other bullfight items (in another auction of mine right now) that a traveling couple brought back from Guadaljara, Mexico. Closed the nut measures 1" tall. It is in mint condition.
