The picture shows a view of all (4) Lithographed Tin & Plastic Toy Roulette Wheels With Store Display Box in this lot. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the mid 1970s. These were made in Hong Kong. They were probably sold in five and dime stores as well as souvenir or novelty shops. The roulette wheels have a steel ball inside and a clear covering. There is a spring loaded button on the side that you push and let go making the wheel spin until it stops and the ball falls into one of the embossed holes. In addition to the numbers, the roulette wheels included are marked as follows: CHICAGO MARINA CITY SEARS TOWER JOHN HANCOCK CENTER FABULOUS LAS VEGAS GOLDEN NUGGET HORSESHOE HOTEL ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. CONVENTION HALL (Comic or Cartoon Character head) no print. The box is diecut to display like a sign when opened (as pictured). It pictures boy and girl comic characters with a Las Vegas Golden Nugget Roulette Wheel on the top, front and back. The box originally held (12) of the roulette wheels. To judge the sizes the games (not counting the buttons) each measure 3'' wide. The games are in mint unused condition. The box has some shelf wear as pictured and two scotch taped corners. |
