| | | | The picture shows a view of this 1949 Northeastern Massachusetts Music Festival Souvenir Program Booklet. The program is dated May 7th, 1949. The cover was loaned through the courtesy of News Pub. Co., Inc.. The booklet has lists of many performers throughout the cities and towns of the State of Massachusetts. There are credits, activities and events listed inside including performances and parade. There are some pictures including Newburyport Mayor John M. Kellehu, Superintendent of Schools Rupert A. Nock, Glee Clubs, Newburyport War Memorial Stadium (with marching bands), Newburyport High School, Marching Band, Cheerleaders, and Baton Twirlers. There is also a Newburyport, Massachusetts History inside. The back cover has an illustrated map of the area with some buildings. The booklet measures 8-1/2'' x 11''. It appears to be in near mint condition as pictured, but it is a bit musty from age and storage and will need to be aired out. |
