| The picture below shows a larger view of this Rare 1965 Cracker Jack Drink Pal Cop Toy Prize Wooden Carving Model With (10) Snap Together Prizes in this lot. Shown is both half sides of the wooden Drink Pal Cop Model, along with (2) unassembled, and (8) assembled toy prizes. The carving is done in halves to create the two metal injection mold sides. All of the prizes in this set, have curved or hooked hands, and snap on feet, to hang from the rim of a drink glass, to keep a child company and entertained while eating meals or snacks. The scrap plastic piece has instructions. Included here are (2) unassembled, and (4) assembled toy prizes. The prize design was created by John “Wally” Walworth, along with with Samuel and Gordon Gold of Gold Premium International Corporation Studios, in New York City, New York. The model was carved by Carver Carl Halstammer in Chicago, Illinois. Carl had passed away in 1974. It was made at a larger scale then the prizes to work out design issues and later the metal molds were created of the smaller actual prize size. The model is made of light weight Basswood. One side of the carving is missing the simply designed hand, but another one shouldn’t be very difficult to make or have made. This one of a kind model is the only one in existence. I do not have the Cracker Jack prize number or the prize manufacturer on hand. Shown FOR REFERENCE ONLY, is the model, and prize for another Drink Pal (Astronaut) in this set.
