On the end of the handle is an image of Thomas Jefferson and in the bowl of the spoon is an image of The U.S. Government Building at the Fair. On the back is the Cascade Gardens and the Louisiana Purchase Monument. It is marked on the two sides as follows: 1904 ST. LOUIS
