This clip is not dated but it is believed to be from the early 1950s as a premium for Hopalong Cassidy Ice Cream Bars. It is made of an embossed brass metal. It has a longhorn steer or cattle at the top, and a place for Hoppy’s image below. Just as it is here, the photograph is almost always missing. It is also embossed “HOPALONG CASSIDY” and “BAR 20” on the front. The clip on the back is intact. This premium measures about 1'' x 2-1/8'' x 1/4''. It appears to be in excellent condition, but without the tiny photograph as pictured. |
