| | | | The picture below shows a larger front and back view of this Old Canoe Racing Sports Award Ribbon Medal. The medal is not dated but it is believed to be from the early 1900s. We do not know what the actual event was or its location. It may have been from a camp, but we do not know for sure. At the top is a red, white, and blue ribbon with an attached metal pin section. Hanging from the ribbon is a silver plated medal. It has a raised image of three people paddling canoes. There are also crossed paddles, leaves, and an unengraved banner section at the bottom. It is marked on the back as follows: D & C
