| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of all (24) Colorful 1969 Multiple Products Corporation MPC Space Explorer or Astronaut Miniature Plastic Toy Play Set Figures in this lot. These are not dated but they are believed to be from 1969 or the early 1970s. These figures were all sold in stores, but the MPC figures were also used as toy prizes in specially marked 1969 boxes of Nabisco Rice Honeys and Wheat Honeys cereal. The cereal had offered two “Space Explorers” in each box from a crew of six playset figures in the set. These are marked “MPC” and a mold number on the bottom of the base. The ones in this lot are in silver blue, and orange plastic. All twenty-four of these for one price! To judge the sizes the bottom left figure measures about 2-1/8'' tall. These appear to be anywhere from good to mint condition as pictured. There is one that has a chewed face. |
