| | | | The picture shows a view of the (2) Old Raisin Bran Cereal Advertising Toy Play Money Dollar Bills in this lot. The backs of these are blank. We do not know what brand of cereal that these were from, Kellogg's, Post, or one of the many others that have made Raisin Bran since 1926. They are not dated but are believed to be from between the 1930s and the 1950s. They appear to have been cut off of a cereal box back. One is a blue one dollar bill and the other is a red five dollar bill. They both have a young boy and girl and an image of a wheat stalk with a raisin character on top. They are marked as follows: RAISIN BRAN
PLAY MONEY
(one or five) The play dollar bills each measure about 4-1/4'' x 1-7/8''. They appear to be in excellent used condition with some light creasing and a spot on one as pictured. |
