The newspaper is dated Tuesday, February 11, 1969, but the year that this tray was made is unknown. The main article appears to be ''NEW JERSEY BACK IN ACTION'', where the battleship was brought back into action in the Vietnam War. It gives details of the war. Another article, with a boat pictured, is about this 38 foot boat running aground after breaking its mooring during a storm in Mackerel Cove. There are other articles or partial articles, and they all can be easily read. The imprinted black glass tray measures about 9'' x 7''. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
