| | | | The pictures below show five larger views around this Old Cast Iron Bank Building Novelty Still Coin Savings Bank. Shown is the front and back, the left and right sides, and the bottom. The old bank is not dated, and we do not know the year that it was made. We have been told that it was most likely made by a company named A. C. Williams. This building bank is dark with no paint. There is a 3/4'' coin slot (dime or penny) at one side, and a 7/8'' (nickel or quarter) coin slot on the other side. You would be able to see if there are coins inside through the many windows. It is marked “BANK” on the roof of the front and back. There is a horizontal rod through the bank that you would turn to open it. The cast iron still (not mechanical) bank measures about 2-1/16'' x 3'' x 2''. It appears to be clean, and in excellent or better condition as pictured. |
