| | | | The pictures show views of this Early Pair Of Childrens OH BOY Motorcycle Gloves. Shown are the tops, bottoms, and a closer view of the imprinted felt patches sewn on the cuffs. The year that these were made or used is unknown but they are believed to be from the 1920s. The finger section are made of cloth. The cuff sections are made of an old vinyl over burlap, and the patches are imprinted in color on felt. These have no makers mark. Each of the patches have a motorcycle rider speeding along and are marked ''OH BOY!''. These most likely belonged to a young boy to copy his Father who may have rode a bike. These measure about 9'' long from the cuff to the tip of the middle finger. Needless to say that these gloves were well loved by their owner. Some of the fingers had been sewn with brown thread at one time. They are in good condition considering their age and use. We have never seen another pair like these. |
